Cookie Policy

Effective date: 2026-05-29

This Cookie Policy explains how Kalmantic ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the jusInfer platform, dashboard, and website (the "Service"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Plain-English summary. We use a small number of cookies: one to keep you signed in, one to remember your theme preference (light/dark), and one to remember your cookie consent choice. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We don't sell your data.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. We use cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage (collectively "cookies and similar technologies" or just "cookies" for short in this policy).

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary (cannot be turned off)

NamePurposeStorageExpires
Firebase session cookieKeeps you signed in across page loadsBrowser cookie (HTTP-only, Secure)When you sign out or close the browser
jusinfer-themeRemembers your light/dark theme choicelocalStorageUntil cleared
jusinfer-admin-themeRemembers theme on admin.jusinfer.com (Kalmantic staff only)localStorageUntil cleared
jusinfer-cookie-consentRecords that you've seen and acted on the cookie bannerlocalStorage12 months

These are essential for the Service to function. You cannot opt out and continue to use the dashboard.

Functional (currently none)

We currently do not use functional cookies (e.g. for personalization beyond theme). If we add any in the future, we will update this list and ask for your consent first.

Analytics (currently none)

We do not use analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Mixpanel, no Segment, no Posthog). All telemetry we collect comes from server-side logs of API calls — see our Privacy Policy for what those contain.

If we add an analytics cookie in the future, it will be opt-in via the cookie banner and we will update this list.

Marketing / advertising (none)

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not run retargeting campaigns. We do not share your visit data with ad networks.

3. Cookies set by third parties

When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, those providers may set their own cookies on the sign-in flow page. See Google's privacy policy and Microsoft's privacy statement for details.

When you make a purchase, Stripe sets cookies on the Stripe Checkout page necessary to complete the transaction.

4. Your choices

  • In your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in settings. Blocking the Firebase session cookie will sign you out and prevent sign-in.
  • In the cookie banner: when you first visit, the banner asks you to accept essential cookies (required) and any optional categories. Your choice is remembered for 12 months.
  • Withdraw consent: you can revisit your choices anytime by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

5. Do Not Track

Browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no industry consensus on what this signal means, we do not currently respond to it. The fact that we don't run analytics or advertising cookies means there is little to "track" in the first place.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the cookie banner (which will re-prompt for consent) or by dashboard notice.
